From a Dream to Reality
SEAA, Inc. was established and incorporated in
2000. The life long dream of Jim and Freddie
Mullins. The challenge was accepted to provide
quality tournaments to Fast Pitch and Slow Pitch
Softball teams. Slow Pitch softball is an important
part of SEAA. SEAA strives to provide tournaments
for Youth Slow Pitch teams, as well as, Adult
Teams. Fast Pitch and Slow Pitch teams spend a
great deal of their time at or on a ball field. They are
dedicated, driven people that want to play ball to
the fullest of their abilities.
SEAA saw a need for tournaments that were fair,
well organized and unbiased. We initiated the
format of 2 pool games and double elimination.
After all, it is about the experience of playing more
games that will hone the skills.
The SEAA Fast Pitch World Series tournament has
grown from 12 teams in the very first tournament to
a high of 132 teams-In the beginning we drew
teams from the local area.
The word spread and the last tournament drew
from 12 different states.
The SEAA Slow Pitch World Series tournament had a total of 72 teams this past year. It was
the largest slow pitch tournament held. It showcased some of the best talent in Slow Pitch
Softball. Teams from Oklahoma, Ohio, Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia and Kentucky
participated in the 2007 World Series.
With a never ending desire to meet the needs of our supporters, SEAA is proud to announce
an exciting new age division in both Fast Pitch and Slow Pitch. Our 23 and under age
division will offer great opportunity for college teams and to the teams that have attained an
age that does not allow them to play in Youth softball.
Opening Ceremonies has grown also. It was held at the Smokies Baseball Stadium, Patriot
Park, a big open field, now we have settled into the Grand Convention Center. The indoor
staging area at the Grand Convention Center, allows us to show case the teams that attend.
It is a fun and enjoyable time that allows us to meet Local Dignitaries, teams from other
states, coaches and the staff of SEAA. Add in pin exchange, karaoke, Team Cheer
competition and concessions and the kids have a blast, a few parents, too.
With support from Pigeon Forge attractions, SEAA is striving to provide a fun and entertaining
vacation and most of all, Softball experience for the teams and their families.
Everyone that has so graciously supported us in the past, we welcome you back. New teams,
new friends, new acquaintances, we welcome you and invite you to be a part of SEAA.
COME JOIN THE FUN!!!!!!!
